Booster Club – Volunteers:

The Golden Girls Booster club is in need of volunteers for the following committees:

A successful committee member is enthusiastic, positive, responsible and willing to help the chairman as needed. Committee members need to communicate with the chairman and fulfill their commitment to complete the job.

Each of these committees, unless otherwise noted, will have a Committee Chair. Committee members will not be responsible for organizing these events, but will assist before, during, and/or after as requested by the committee chairs.

The committee chairs will contact you with more information closer to the event.

Future Golden Girls – Local girls from kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to join the GG's during the first half of a football game. Committee members will assist with set up, check-in, and chaperoning during the event.

***NEW – Competition - This is a new fundraising event for the Golden Girls. More information will follow.

Winter Workshop – Local girls from Pre-school through 6th grade are invited for a morning of dance instruction and games, commencing in a special dance performance and a visit from Santa Claus. Committee members with assist with set up, check-in, chaperoning, and clean-up during/after the event.

Bingo - Committee members assist with set up, clean-up, and chaperoning GG's during the event. May assist with various tables, such as ticket sales, merchandise sales, etc. Volunteers usually work in shifts, so you can still participate in the event.

Spring Show – Committee Chair will coordinate with the directors and treasurers to run the ticket tables and lobby area during the Spring Show. Committee members will assist by working various tables before the show and during intermission.

Hospitality - Committee members assist with serving meals, snacks and water during football season, competition season, or other activities/events. Also assists in contacting local businesses for donations of water and snacks

Transportation - Ideal opportunity for GG Dads. Committee members will chaperone all football games both away and home; assists with equipment used at games; sets up stadium seating before games. May assist in transportation needs for other events, at the advisement of the director. Chaperones may ride the buses to the games, as space allows.  Volunteers do not have to work every game.

Line of Gold Fundraising Chair – Responsible for raising funds for the Line of Gold Scholarship.  Manages the rewards programs for Kroger’s, Randall’s, AmazonSmile, etc.; Arranges Spirit Nights.  Distributes LOG Sponsorship info to potential sponsors. Coordinates with Fundraising chair and Treasurer, ensuring all scholarship funds are received and accounted for. Coordinates/manages fundraisers for the LOG, either themselves, or by naming committee chairs to assist, including, but not limited to:

• Bingo.  Arranges packages for the live Auction and/or live raffle for the Bingo Event.
